LaTavia, a proud native of DeSoto, Texas, Interning at Pivot's Potential as a Master Social Work student has demonstrated exceptional dedication to her education and community. She earned her Associate of Science degree from Dallas College in 2023, a significant achievement that laid the foundation for her future endeavors in social work.

Building upon her associate degree, LaTavia continued her academic journey at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where she obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree in Fall 2024. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Family and Children at UTA, aiming to provide services for individual and family therapy. Her ultimate goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the next three years, while bring awareness on a larger scale within the mental community.

Beyond her academic and professional aspirations, LaTavia is a devoted mother to two daughters. She enjoys spending quality time with them, indulging in seafood, and roller skating on Sunday afternoons. Her commitment to both her family and her community underscores her passion for service and advocacy.
